Emilia is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist with special interests in treating those with neurological conditions and sports related injuries. Having worked in both Argentina and Australia for over a decade, Emilia joined the team at Edgecliff Physiotherapy in March 2023, eager to continue providing exceptional care to her patients.

Emilia has worked extensively in neurological rehabilitation treating those with stroke, head and spinal cord injuries, and multiple sclerosis to name a few, as well as treating leading international rugby players, professional racing car drivers, and elite martial arts athletes. Emilia’s approach to physiotherapy is holistic, placing each patient’s unique needs and goals at the centre of their treatment plan. She prioritises the patient’s overall well-being, rather than solely addressing their condition, and encourages their active participation in their recovery process.

She utilises her expertise in manual therapy, breathing techniques, and yoga/postural exercises to support her patients’ recovery and self-improvement, and overall improved quality of life.

When she’s not taking care of her patients at the clinic, Emilia loves to run on the sand and jump in the ocean. She enjoys her morning yoga practice and energising ice baths. She has a keen interest in meditation and regularly attends courses in different techniques to deepen her connection to the mind.
